Snapdragon, Dwarf, 'Sunset mix' (Antorrhinum majus dwarf)
Two varieties of dwarf Snapdragon- "Montego Orange" and "Montego Yellow". Multiple flower clusters grow on upright spikes that reach 6"- 15" in height. Snapdragons grow best in cool weather with full sun exposure, and rich, fertile, well-drained soil. The buds burst open in summer and continue to bloom into fall, but the blooming will stop if temperatures reach 80 degrees. Snapdragons require no staking and are ideal for container planting. Hummingbirds and butterflies take interest to them. Freeze seeds for 48 hours before sowing to increase the germination rate.
